My Story
I discovered Scentsy in April 2011 and fell in love with it right away. I didn’t think I would stop burning candles, my husband said we had enough to burn down the city of Milwaukee; I told him my goal was the state. I am now a non-candle burner. No more soot on the walls, burns from trying to light a wick that is too deep in a jar, lighters around for kids to find, and flames for cats to walk by and possibly get hurt on. Yes, one cat did burn a few whiskers when she was younger. I love that the product is child and pet friendly. Always having children over and pets in the house, this is an important feature of the product for my family life. The wax doesn’t get hot enough to burn anyone either. Of course my son had to put his finger in the hot wax to prove this and he found this statement to be true, he did not get burned. The wax is non-toxic as well. Being a parent and aunt, this makes me feel great; you know how children love to put everything in the mouth. I became addicted to Scentsy that I decided to sign up to become a demonstrator, for my discount. As others found out I was an Independent Scentsy Demonstrator, they asked me for catalogs. I joined in August 2011, the same month I sold over $1,000 in products and became a Certified Consultant. I couldn’t believe it! I love Scentsy! I was scared to sign up & meet the minimum quota of $150 in three months; I think I did this in just a few days. I am so happy I decided to join the Scentsy Team, the support is amazing.
